just finished reading book 5 in the elemental assassin series. this series is one of the best that i've ever read. i dont really ever go out and buy books brand new, i just cant afford it. but i loved this series so much i bought books 4 & 5. i will be buying books 1,2,&3 soon, but they will be used.
these books take place in Ashland, which when described of its location is virginia, tennessee, and north carolina. i live n elizabethton, tennessee which is pretty much in the location of the fantasy city of Ashland. it just makes the story so much better w/ it being in my home place.
the character in the story is named Gin Blanco. She's an assassin who can control 2 magical elements, stone n ice. she gets paid to kill people. you would think that being an assassin she would be heartless n cold blooded, but in all reality she is full of love n wants nothing but love n return. she gets let n the 1st couple books by a man she should never have cared for. but if you keep reading the series you will see that good things do happen to good people.
this series shows that you can be a strong person n push yourself to the limit n accomplish anything. no matter how impossible the situation seems. the series is action packed w/ some great cliff hangers to keep you wanting more. i cant wait till the next book comes out.
i must say that this series is #2 on my list of favs! get spiders bite, books 1 in the series n read it! enjoy the escape into the world of gin blanco n relish the escape that she'll give you from your everyday life of nonstop responsibility! enjoy some action n love n heroines winning the day!
